There's You
        by TheresaLee  (theresalee@Writing.Com)
There's a void inside of me, I know
That only you can fill.
There's a pain that aches inside of me
To let me know it's real.
There's, sometimes, a hand I feel
Reminding me of you.
There's a love inside my soul,
Too great to not be true.
There's a dream I sometimes have,
I vaugely see your face.
I vaugely feel your fingertips,
And the outline they would trace.
I feel, all around me now,
A cold and empty space.
But there are times, I close my eyes,
And feel your warm embrace.
There are times I hear your voice;
It just isn't enough.
After knowing your graceful hands;
Masculine, but not rough.
There was a time I hold so dear,
When I could know your ways.
There was a time I remeber clear,
When you were in my days.
There's a thought, a dream perhaps,
Where me and you can be.
There's a place you've somehow touched,
No one else can find in me.
