So. I have this issue, right? I've got some gift points that I've been saving up in order to purchase an upgraded membership without my hard-earned cash. But you know what...? I've changed my mind. There's better things to be done with those gift points. Besides...I need to review more, and I think this will be a bit more encouragement to read what's out there. It's always a good idea to reward those who write—and write well—too. There's not going to be much to this reward page...yet. But give me some time to find some items, and it'll be full in no time! The Scribbler Award for Amazing Journals
The following rewards are given to the journals that keep me coming back for more. Chances are, they're under the "journals" section of my Favorite Items popup, and they're the first things I look at when I get on Writing.com every day. I read them in a stalkerish, creepy way, but only for the loads of entertainment value they carry. If you're an obsessive journal reader like I am, you should definitely read these. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First off, Andrea's journal is awesome. Not only is it easy to read because of her perfect grammar, but she's incredibly philosophic at times and knows how to suck things up and deal. Yeah, she vents. Yeah, she gets angry. But she always pulls through. Also, considering that we're the same age and going through the same periods in our lives, we generally mirror each other with what we're doing and trying to accomplish. The thing about Andrea, though, is that she's got admirable determination and tends to figure things out much faster. So, keep it up! You do great! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just started to read Jenn's journal a few weeks ago (maybe not even that long), but I was pulled in right away. I don't know if it was the Harry Potter entries, or the kind of gritty, real details that I admire in a journal, but I was sucked in. She's funny and very down-to-earth in all of her entries, and makes it easy for anyone thinking about getting a job at Wal-mart to reconsider (um, thanks for that!). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
