LOUDER THAN A SCREAM: an acrostic
Louder than a scream can be, Often, the sighs of heart. Unknown to the lover they Defile the course of love. Entangled emotions are, Rather than forgotten, Twisted o’er and o’er again. Hellish the mind becomes. Although love pervades all world, Not many revere it. Almost mechanically Seek pleasure, passion, all. Children’s love is tender, yet, Robust it is no doubt. Entirely selfless it is As compared to adults. May I be a child again! * Written in 7-6-7-6 syllabic format o Awarded third prize in “Every Week Something New” contest, "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 3 August 2007
