When you came at first
I never knew what to say
Never knew what to do
Almost every single day

Until one day we talked
We both opened up so much more
I told you things about me
Not knowing it was a bore

As time passed I fell for you
Hating the moments we were away
Clinging to you with every grasp
Wishing that you would just stay

Compliments would spill from your lips
As my heart and stomach would fly
Moments seemed to last forever
Until one time they'd die

Fights would come from silly things
Truth would share along with pain
Moments now are starting to fade
Keeping us no longer sane

Now the moments we had are gone
Painful times are soon to come
But hopes and dreams still do stay
And we wait to see the sum
