Southern with Attitude

Hi, I’m a 46 year old female with lots of advice to offer; some of which is requested. I have been writing for longer than I care to remember. My mother still has old composition books with my scribblings from days past. Recently, after I joined WDC again, I asked my mother to retrieve all those long forgotten words. I am not published and have never submitted my work to a publisher/editor. I have only just begun to share my work with others at the urging of a special friend.

I graduated high school in 1979 and immediately went to work. I did not finish college until my 40’s so I appreciate my education now more than ever. It’s hard to learn new tricks when you get older. Your brain is full……..

I live in a small town on the NC coast, numbers are my life. However, my stronger skills in editing and writing seem to be spelling and grammar. Though not formally educated in English, I did make fairly good grades in high school and college.

I do have a vivid imagination and have experience in most areas. I’ve been lucky enough to have experienced relationships with no sexual hang-ups. Those experiences have proven to be my best teacher. For the more personal side of me, see
