SENTRIES OF THE CREED
Duty, honor, country - each are woven through the Creed defining his identity and guiding every deed. He stands with Brethren vigilant, guarding well the gate; they and Sisters sworn and sent to shield us all from hate. Through years gone by and passing still since our great nation's birth, their covenant kept strong and real, affirming freedom's worth. Offered up, their very lives; shed for us, their blood... slain, the foes by hate disguised - oppression's storms withstood. The tides of war they've driven back - swept clean the shores of peace; stayed each enemy's attack, their strangleholds released. For each of these centurions - present, future, past, let us be historians - their legacy must last... preserved and treasured by us all; held sacred in each soul; their sacrifices, great and small, and suffered loss made whole. On this day and each day forth, let shine their testament; pay homage and proclaim their worth - let not their hearts lie rent. Cherish each, these heroes all - keep warm their memory; let not obscurity befall these knights of destiny. Uphold and honor each of them, as they have done for us; let not the blood and tears they spend lie wasted in the dust. Give pause each day in freedom lived, assured us by their deeds; hold dear and honor all they give... these Sentries of the Creed.
