The Disspelling

Forever I have awoke from thickened haze.
Day after day.
I have become attracted to it's repulsively familiar suffocation.
My waking days now haunt me.
I flee from the realities of nightfall,
as I turn my face from the moon.
The putrid haze that I once endured,
has lost its foreboding heaviness.
A transparency has taken over,
ripping its way into the fortress of answers.
Answers that the beast within feasted upon,
while it dwelled secretly veiled in my clouded past.
Leaving me with unending, sunlit journeys,
filled with vivid viciousness
forever supplying my voids of devotedly
disspelled decades of disgust.
