I'm sure folks will argue that black should be for the darker side of writing, but, no, I don't think so. These black ribbons will be for anything that tickles my fancy for blackness. For example, take the first lucky recipient: I've been raving about Laurie's black bean dip since the moment I saw it, drooled, realised I had all the ingredients to hand, so wandered off and made it. I've never looked back!
