Now, all the things I left unsaid rattle around inside my head. My hollow heart cries out for you, recalling things I didn't do. I never mentioned how I felt until the final card was dealt. Too late to charm back to my side, when all you felt for me had died. A lesson learned; it hurt so much never again to feel your touch. Not able then to turn the tide.
