Painful Gratitude
Surrounded by others who sit back and wait. To tell their stories of disgust as if they were great. As I stand and wonder why, those who surround me pretend to cry. Draining the life from those who could die. The others pain has turned to greed, while all the true at heart solemly plead. Begging for a cease of pain, why do the others seek to gain? Soon their greed will turn to lust, leaving the rest of us with utter disgust.
