Our Family photos, come meet the family! I may add to these as time passes so be sure to check back in. ![]() This is a picture of our family from 2000. Mel, myself, and Clarissa, better known as C.J.,our daughter who was only a few months old at the time. ![]() This is a picture of My beautiful wife Mel and myself from a few months ago. C.J. took the picture so forgive the angle and the soft focus. She dyed my hair and moustache in the first pic. Don't want you thinking i aged that much in seven years now! ![]() This is a picture of C.J. from 2005. It's the most recent we have on the computer at the moment. ![]() This is a picture of our two boys, the Siamese Cats. Dylan on the left, Damian on the right. They are the inspiration behind my short stories "The Furry Two Piece Blanket" and "The Cat That Made My Dreams Come True" {/l} {/r}The pic on the left is our little B'Ball Star. On the right is her with her teammates, the Lady Cats. C.J. was the All Star of her last game with 5 assists, and 6 points. Not bad for her first year in the sport huh? On top of learning her sport, she had to learn Bible verses to say at every practice because it was a Christian B'Ball League. ![]() Here's an article about C.J.'s poem, and the contest we entered it in without her knowing. She placed in the Top 10 from a group of kids from 12 states, not bad for her first poem huh? I entered the adult age group contest and do you think I won anything? Of Course Not! Which only served to make C.J. happier. Correction: My wife was just at the website that C.J.'s poem was entered in. It was: poeticpower.com and Clarissa was in the top ten in all states, and Canada. Summer 2005 Grades K-3 Top Ten Winners - ALL STATES AND CANADA First Name Last Name Grade Owen Hawkins 1 Teresa Yu Kyrene 2 Micah Hoffman 2 Valentina Montanari 2 Virginia Smith 3 Michael White 3 Emma Murphy 3 William Rivitz 3 Danielle Grega 3 Clarissa Dyson K Clarissa's Poem is titled "Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee." We were riding down the road one day when C.J. said daddy, I made up a poem, wanna hear it? I told her of course, not expecting too much of it but I was shocked. I had to scramble for a pen and note pad so I could write it down just the way she said it. I made a mistake while I was writing it down and she corrected me really quick so this is her poem following: Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee
Bumble bee, bumble bee how do you do, I was looking at the flowers when I really saw you. You were drinking up the honey nectar looking at me, bumble bee, bumble bee don't sting me. Bumble bee, bumble bee how do you do? bumble bee, bumble bee I love you!" By: Clarissa Joan Dyson
