AS LONG AS WE KEEP DREAMING
As long as we keep dreaming, We’re alive, I’m sure. Our life is shaped by our dreams. Not dreaming is death pure. We may dream of love or fame. Of dollars, we may dream. Dreams are what do spur us on And give our eyes a gleam. It’s better to dream but fail To realize a dream. In the absence of a dream, Life would too listless seem. Had there been no dreamers, then, We would still be on earth. Of space ships and internet, There would have been a dearth. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 17 August 2007
