The "Devil"
A poem about falling for someone who's not who you think they are.

How could I have fallen
For such a pretty face.
I thought you were an angel,
Fallen from grace.

Your words were so beautiful,
They still ring in my head.
But now I finally realize
You were the Devil instead.

Everything you told me
Was nothing but lies;
But I fell for your tricks
I got lost in your eyes.

My soul was being lifted.
My heart had started to heal.
Until I finally realized
The Devil,
Doesn't care how you feel.
