Heartbroken
A poem about watching a heart break.

As the roses died, I saw tears in your eyes;
And I watched as you wilted.
Through the smile so fake, I saw your heart break;
And I watched as your world tilted.
As everything spun out of control,
I saw you grab for a tighter hold;
And I watched as you fell to the ground.
As your soul died, I saw you lose your mind;
And I looked away at the painful sound.
