The Girl in the Mirror
        by goddess ex luna  (luneress@Writing.Com)
As the girl walks in

and shuts the door,

she sees the girl

already there.

Waiting for her.

Girl 'A' leans against the door

and watches Girl 'B'

who copies her every move.

Then the anger and pain

from before spill out.

Exploding like a fire bolt.

Yet, no words are spoken.

Actions are enough.

Girl 'A' pulls out the

gun hidden behind her back but

Girl 'B' is faster. Gun

poised at her chest and ready to go.

"What are you doing?"

They ask each other.

"Ending it. Ending all the pain,

once and for all."

"At the same time.'Kay?"

"Agreed.''

''One..."

"Two..."

"Three, bye."

"Bye."

Nothing happens.

Girl 'B' starts to laugh.

''I knew you couldn't do it."

Her laughter making a mockery

of her. Tantalizing her.

Then, the girl shoots.

Shoots and watches as

Girl 'B' shatters into millions of

tiny pieces.

''No more.''

The gun is shot

once more.

Blood spills over the floor.

Over the pieces.

Hiding them,

once more.
