Let's pretend
That the face I share
Is the one I see myself
That the voice I speak
Is what I hear inside
That I love myself
As much as I want others to.

Let's pretend
That you don't do the same
That every word, action
Is the true reality
Of how we feel and think
Reflection of who we are
Not who we want to be.

Let's pretend
That everyone else is real
Not doing the same as we
That what they say and do
Is what they want instead
Of what is expected of them
Or what they think we want.
