Behind Brown Eyes
I can feel the love rolling down my face, Coming from my eyes. The pain I feel escapes, From the doors in my face. Please don't look in my eyes. The pain I feel can't show, If you don't look in my eyes. The hurt can't appear above the suface Of my broken heart, Unless you look into my eyes. So I'll just keep on living With my head hung low; Cause my love will show, If you look in my eyes. I understand what a fool I was To let you go; But you'll never know, Only in my eyes. Please don't look into my eyes. They say eyes are the window to the soul, To the heart, to the feelings that you hide. So if you want to know if I still love you, Just look into my eyes.
