BREATH IN THE BREEZE
by Maria Mize, in 2005-06 With the windows open, the blinds seem to breathe in --- and then out --- With each new gust, gently tapping the window frame. The leaves rustle overhead and the branches sway and billow. I listen, and hear the song of the wind chimes as they dance in the distance. Is this not the wind of the Spirit, the breath of the living God? I breathe in; a smile gracing my face I am at peace.
