Summer's end
Summer passing by

Sunny days and starry skies,
I cant believe how summer flies.
Days in the park, walks on the beach,
How I wish that I could reach,
My hand into the great abyss,
Turn back time for one last kiss.
One last day with out the rain,
Before the skies turn gray and plain.
Alas I know this can't be done,
The thing from which you can not run,
That is the changing of the tides,
Upon the waves the next season rides,
Rolling in it can't be slowed,
Following that long straight road,
Made up by the sands of time,
So make each moment of yours sublime.
