Arch-Enemy: Fear

Fear brings torment, worry, and doubt. That's the Fear this writing fiercely seeks  to expose.  It is so much apart of our being we can hardly recognize it.  Did you know, Fear kept you from going to school; and Fear led you to Divorce Court.  Fear of people, fear of places, fear of things and this is not referring to truly hazardous situations.  This is Fear that causes you to sabotage yourself.

Since this is a writing community, Fear is lurking and doing its thing: fear of failure, fear of success, fear of rejection and fear of commitment.  Think about it, why do we do the things we do - it could be Fear perched on the top of our head. Fear will immobolize you.

I am upset with Fear for I have come to the realization that Fear launched successful strategies throughout the course of my life which left behind heartaches, pain, poverty and scars.  And, I have made a vow that with everything that is in within me, Fear will not dictate my life.  WE have an awesome opportunity here in this place and in this time to put Fear on the run. Through encouragement, edification and solid support - one to another; Fear will lose its hold.

I would be remiss if I fail to identify the Source of my love, my strength, and my being - none other than the true and living God; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And this is important, for God knew us before we were in the womb. The enemy began to observe and try us after the womb. I serve the Greater One. And Fear has been put on notice in the name of Jesus.

Fear,  so familiar and so comfortable with us and sapping the very life from us.  I'm talking about "life more abundantly." Be on the lookout for Fear.  And, when you spot him, shine the light on him - let Fear know, "Fear, I see you." Then, you do what you do -hopefully it will not be dictated by Fear. God's best to you.
