The Wave
It rose, gentle, soundless, cooling, and uninposing the wave was born It began thick dark silent and unnoticed until it grew it became a plaything of man, an artists dream of translucent lighted water the colors of ocean green almost teal but not quite darkened blues by the depth of the weight of the water The plaything of youthful exuberance shooting the curl, beach tans and songs the tensions between the youth building its hunger through the waves of growth the artists dream, studies in light, the glowing of life reflections, refractions, paint, and photography a multitude of colors taken into the light today's wave of technology and history meshed into the artform of today lighted water, healing life curling and renewing ever repeating but teaching the young and the old glowing with life as it diffuses through the water filled with life sand, salt, crystals of nature, mixing with small life forms tumbling into the hope of the world building, rising, crashing, an ending and beginning and yet overwhelming.
