Advice for an electrician
for Gary Glenn Along electric wires await the burn and sizzle, that shocking embrace that holds you conscious while two lives splice together. One line cut and the connection's gone. Two lines crossed and both are gone. In your quiet eyes I see no boom; your gaze is mellow. It could come none-too-soon: the raise of hackles, the static hair-do and the Sun-burst's glare of love, Gare, of love coursing along your wires. © Kåre Enga 2006 [162.695]
