My road of life
A poem about what I want my road of life to be.

I want my road of life
to go through the autumn woods
so that I as I walk down it
I can see new colors with every step.

I want my road of life
to make me trip and fall
so that as I walk down it
I can learn something when I get up.

I want my road of life
to twist and turn and weave
so that as I walk down it
I can never predict where I'm going next

I want my road of life
to be high upon a mountain
so that as I walk down it
I can see far and wide and the ghosts of those who came before.

I want my road of life
to be paved with leaves
so that as I walk down it
I can make lots of noise.
