"Coffee's fresh, help yourself."

"Thanks."

"Cream?"

"No, I take it black."

"That's what I thought."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"What's it sound like it means?"

"It sounds like you're making a racial slur."

"Does it? I thought I was just stating the obvious."

"Linda, we don't have to go through that again do we?"

"If it were up to you we never would have talked about it in the first place."

"You think I wasn't going to tell you? I was going to tell you."

"Yeah, but you never thought I would catch you before you did, huh? Kinda took

away your options."

"Lori and I have known each other for a long time. I never in a million years thought

that would happen."

"I'm sure she was hoping it would."

"I have no idea what Lori thinks."

"No? She didn't disclose anything during 'pillow talk'?"

"Linda, you told me yourself that it was okay if we saw other people, considering

our situation..."

"I just said that so you wouldn't think I was too controlling. And what about

our 'situation'?"

"Well, it's not like we can get married, well, not in this state anyway..."

"What, would that make anything different? Are you saying that if we could get

married that that wouldn't have happened?"

"I don't know what I'm saying. Let's just drop it."

"Sure, that's easy or you to say. What if the tables were turned?"

"I suppose I wouldn't be too happy either okay? Is that what you want to hear?"

"I want to hear you say you're sorry and it won't happen again."

"I've already said that yet here we are having this discussion."

"You didn't sound sincere last time."

"Look, you're pissing me off. Ya think I'm going to sound any more sincere this

time?"

"Can you at least try?"

"You know what I think? I think you are just looking for an excuse to argue."

"Maybe I am. But I think I have a right, seeing how I've been faithful and all you do

is sleep around behind my back!"

"Look, we're girlfriends, okay? I never promised we were going to be together

forever!"

"So that's all I am to you? Just your girlfriend?"

"You are my friend and lover, but if you were to be more of a friend to me you would

understand that Lori is attractive and things happen..."

"You love her more than you love me!"

"If it makes you feel any better I don't love her but, if you want to feel worse I guess

this would be the right time to tell you that I don't love you either."

"You bitch! So when were you going to drop that bomb on me?"

"Whenever the moment became appropriate, and I guess that means now."

"Great, just great. I came out of the closet to my parents for you and now I find out

you don't love me."

"Sorry, but I didn't ask you to change your life for me."
