mediocre colors, images, photos love, life, friends rhymes and meter why bother? we clash, we combat, we smash never truly conquering our reckless self-appraisal mommy dearest strives to maintain her vice-like embrace convincing us that it is impossible to sail, to hope or to succeed of course we worry write sonnets in proper pentameter desiring, existing, befriending creating palettes of imagination and dreams which are never simply mediocre yes, triumph is our reward “we shall overcome” [2007.29.8…b]
