Sir slinks around the edge of the garage
ever so hesitantly, then abruptly alert to something beyond my gaze he stops. I gently coax him on, a shield from the danger he fears when his relentless adversary appears And he sprints safely through my open door to inhale cat chow and snooze for awhile before again braving his chosen world where the nemesis, affectionately called Goober, lurks.
