The Looking Glass
A poem I wrote when I was 17 years old. I always kept it, we'll see what you think of it.

Desolation,
Oh leery soul
Travel on thy path of woe

Hark,
The voices of dark cry for thee
And a mourning child awaits

Sleep,
It is the abyss you seek
Abandonment misses thine eyes

Faith,
Father have you forgotten your child
Rotting here on earth in torment

Tears,
From the sky a falling star
Hot and desperate for its home

Hate,
Dogs of war
And pestilences bite

Fear,
The darkness of mankind's soul
Driving one harm again

End,
When all comes back to nothing
And we rebegin
