An Empty Page
A poem I wrote a while ago.

An empty page, a thoughtless head
So many things I yet to have said
Only one thing on my mind
Sleepless nights are so unkind
Empty dreams never come true
A bleeding heart stained in blue
A secret lives peacefully in slumber
Some day I hope to forever encumber
Unspoken words yearning for light
Breaking free unleashing my fright
My resistance is soon to break
Presenting emotions that I cannot fake
Barrels of thoughts slip from my grasp
Open opportunities I never could pass
Clouded visions of what may never be
Wait in anticipation all for you to see
A fight I was bound to lose
A decision where I never had to choose
Only the truth no more lies
I see the beauty lying deep within those eyes
