The Pump
At first it is just a hand pump, red, Water shooting out of it Worn with age Just a pump It should be in a park with children Running around A dog being walked by Flowers rising near to greet the sun But I get a since of coldness from it Untouched for a long time Willing only to yield to a strong Hand since rust has set in and Supportive gentle pressure is needed But, oh! The potential to offer Cool refreshing water Life giving but … Right now there must be someone Willing to be there
