When hearts are hurting, it takes a friend
to heal those hurts so you can try again.
It takes a friend to really understand
that life may not be all we had planned.

With a cheery smile and a wave of hand
you can make a difference, take a stand
against the hurt and make life brighter,
leave someone's heart feeling a little lighter!

Friends are angels who can heal a heart,
give someone else a brand new start.
So take this message for what it's worth
and brighten every day here on Earth.

Depair and worries can get you down,
but there is no need to wear a frown.
Any unhappiness soon departs
