A Nature Walk

I walk in the meadow then over the log bridge.
That crosses the creek just below the ridge.
I go up the hill through the woods to the top.
There for a moment I pause to make a stop.

Then down I walk into the wide valley below.
Around me beautiful flowers smell and grow.
Their beauty is reflected by the suns glow.
Out of the lovely valley I walk it's hard to bare.
To leave the sweet scent of the country air.

I walk the path that leads back to my cabin.
Under the shade of the green Maple trees.
My walk has ended from where it started.
My cabin is cool as it was when I departed.

I feel so refreshed after my little walk is done.
Blessed am I for this old farm that I live on.
Many natures wonder in my life have come.
God has granted me to be His special one.
