Child of Silence
A journey of regret

The child of silence
wanders down the lane,
where the broken stones
remind her of the home,

left in tears so long ago
smothering her dreams,
like disheveled petals
lying on the ground.

There to wonder why
this message in a note,
try avoiding the crowd
that drank and doped.

The passing stranger
knelled and prayed -
"Come here with me
and I will set you free.

My blue eyes gazing
seeing you holding me,
the no one next to you
my spirit will set you free,

time to return to your home
and beg forgiveness please,
to love and hold your family
never stopped loving you"
