Beautiful Voice



I can’t fill this empty space

That you left in my heart

And I couldn’t talk to you

Fearing I would cry

Last night I called you

And realized how much

I missed your beautiful voice

I kept my tears in check

But as soon as I hung up

Those tears started to flow

They became a river, a flood

And the darkness of my room

Provided me little comfort

As I wept myself to sleep

You cant possibly imagine

The stabbing pain in my heart

Torturing me day after day

What have I done

In letting you go?
