Secret Message

This is a secret message
         From someone to you.
It's in here because they know
         That right now you are blue.
Someone knows you're hurting;
         A pain you cannot share.
But someone knows you need to know
         That somebody cares.
You can't replace lost time,
         Lost people, or lost love.
And no one can replace
         The one you're thinking of.
But as you sift through memories,
         And know you must let go.
This is here to remind you
         That you're still not alone.
Though you're by yourself;
         And it seems no one's there;
Someone still loves you enough
         To put this message here.
Where you need it most;
         When you feel like giving up.
At the bottom of your heart and soul.
         There is always us.
So be sad when you need to.
         Be happy when you can.
But always know that through it all
         You always have a friend.
