Experimental poem--bold-facing it

Avg Rating: (1)
Faces disperse & to where?
Between cornea & lens,
between reflectance & aurora borealis,
synthetic visages egged & bisque.

Between all cosmonauts, abyss,
nautical drifts--each granular ellipse
stretched & feathered inside
a weathered book.

(This was a prompt poem for a contest. The first word of the poem had to start with the word "face", the last word had to be "book". The length of the poem could not exceed eight lines.)
