(Loosely based on "California Dreaming"... I mean really loose!)
All the tears are blood And the skies are gray I stepped out in the night To enjoy a Broadway play If I didn’t tell you In my own toothy way Living vampire dreams, dear, on such an autumn’s day! I bit into a jerk I found along the way Well baby, that nose ring just got caught On his weathered beret I live along the river That flows through city maze Loving vampire dreams, dear, on these autumn days! I know that my life sucks You might think it's this way But honestly, it’s just a little bite So Adios! and, good day My bed is just a coffin It’s where I have to stay Enjoy those vampire dreams, dear, come join with me today! (With sincere apologies to the Mamas and the Papas) (21 lines)
