On an Autumn Morning ... (A Monchielle Poem)
On an autumn morning I see the wild geese fly Perfect “V” formation Winging swiftly southward Warmer clime vacation. On an autumn morning Orange, red and yellow Maple leaves are falling Weaving close together Graceful dance enthralling. On an autumn morning Bits of frost still linger Filigree on flowers Slowly disappearing Sunlight’s warmth empowers. On an autumn morning Cool brisk breeze is blowing. The summer just a dream Winter will be coming All part of nature’s scheme. ************************************************* Monchielle The Monchielle is a poem that consists of four five-line stanzas, where the first line is repeated in each stanza.
