Socks in Any Colour You Like
        by Elric  (darthjosh13@Writing.Com)
I was heading down the road one fine day
And nothing I saw was going through my mind
Just then my friend pointed out to me
A building stretched as far as the eye could see
And so we pulled right up to it
And we saw a little lady sitting in a desk
She looked up at us coming in
And she said

This is a place that can show only once
We have socks to last now till the end of time
Don't need to pay a thing, just take what you like
This is a place where you can get socks in any colour you like

My friend and I took a look at each other
Then we took a look down the hall
Nothing but socks in every way from wall to wall to wall
Every way we could think, and all of it to take
We're in heaven, we said, let's start enjoying
And we ran and ran and took and took
And filled our arms to our heart's content
So much on hand, but so little can carry
These socks in any colour we liked

This is a place that can show only once
We have socks to last now until the end of time
Don't need to pay a thing, just take what you like
This is a place where you can get socks in any colour you like.
