Not Unlike a Dream It didn't feel like a dream. Dreams are sandy and slip through your fingers Running off hours of time in a few moments Drifting like dunes that disappear in the winds. It didn't feel like a dream. Dreams are wet and fluid racing by In ravines that fork and twist and transport Leaving you someplace else than you were. It didn't feel like a dream. Dreams have the kaleidescopic capacity To tumble reality into new symmetries of fancy Making the known unknown anew. It didn't feel like a dream. But then just like a dream it didn't feel Unlike the way I surmised it shouldn't feel Not knowing I merely dreamed it wasn't a dream. © Copyright 2007 NavWorks and DE Navarro. All rights reserved.
