HIDDEN IN A CLOUD

It's said that every cloud has a silver lining,
and I tend to believe that this is very true,
for when the skies are filled with clouds
I know God sends His light shining through.

I watch the clouds on summer days when
they are white and puffy, filling up the sky
with shapes like angels and puppy dogs
and sometimes even a beautiful heart I spy.

I watch the clouds on dark and dismal days
when nothing in my world is going just right,
it seems the clouds come to bring us rain
but then God sends a rainbow filled with light.

God speaks to us in so many different ways,
quiet as butterfly wings or really quite loud.
Imagine what you might find if you just look
to see the message that is hidden in a cloud!
