The secret pleasure of an empty nest.

After two decades of marriage, we have an empty nest. Our friends and family keep checking on us; they seem concerned. We share secret smiles as we walk through our peaceful house half dressed if we please, go to dinner and a movie at the drop of a hat, and sleep sweetly through the night.
