MOMENT

. . .

Moment

The trueness of my moment,
Living hard this moment's time,
Walking closer onto midnight,
Hand in hand the chill of time.

My head slumps in the dryness
Of the cruel and callous hand,
Knowing moment's mine unfolding
As our Lord and I have planned.

The staleness of the moment
Has me wondering the plan,
So I worry while I muster,
On these grayest days, "i am."

Worries have no warrant
While walking earthly strands.
God sings amazing chorus,
Granting wisdom to me a man.

Encountering crashed courses,
Granting misery its rant,
While I corner all those worries,
And brand them with my stamp.

In wonder joined with heartache,
Coursing forward long been planned,
Now walking slow and steady,
Bewildered with the pace I've ran.

Now I look up to the heavens
With outstretched open hands,
Crying out for strength to conquer
Worries ranked commands.
