Why do I fall in love? Why does a kleptomaniac steal?

                    I thirst!
                    I hunger!
          I gaze into your eyes
          and am nourished!
                    You fill the plate
                    which is my soul,
          and overflow the cup
          which is my heart!

          And, glutton that I am,
                    I feast!
       
          I would not love you
          save for this:

                    'Tis not my will!
                    You are there
                    and I am here.
                    I see you-
          and well, suddenly,
                    I must be there too!
