Stop the clock, I'm laughing!
I'm really laughing, It feels good.
I'm laughing, I'm crying, I'm happy
And it's all because I'm free.
Free to me.
No more iron bars caging me in
No more tears, no more pain
No more inner struggles against
the beast of fear, dread, and gloom
I'm free.

I can go out in the world and be
What ever I want to be
Actress, stenographer, or CPA
I'm laughing, I happy, and I'm free.
I'm laughing at you, I'm laughing at me
And It feels good. I havn't been able to laugh
all of my life. I mean real laughter. Laughter
that comes from freedom to be you.

I can run, I can shout, and dance all about
Because I'm laughing, I'm really laughing.
I'm free.
Stop the clock, I'm laughing!
