I walk back into the room
The tears still streaming
The pain still flowing
My mind still dazed
Not knowing where I am
This feeling is just so unreal
There you lie, so sweetly
So innocent, so free
I wish I had you back
I wish you were still mine
I saw that look in your eyes
Your lips said you love me
But your mind wanders to someone else
Your heart lies, your smile tries
It tries to hide the pain
The fear of my knowing
Not realizing I’ve already seen
I know what you do
I know how you feel
I try to make it go away
I will just take my leave
You’re forever lost to me
I’ll just walk away
Because it doesn’t really matter
I can’t change anything with what I say
