My next door neighbour is a nurse at one of Manchester's hospitals. She told me that a friend of hers was very upset at the death of another close colleague.
Apparently, the student nurse was assisting in Theater when she collapsed dead, on top of the patient. She hadn't had the time, or money, to go out an buy new underwear. The wire in an old bra of hers had snapped, punctured the skin between her ribs, and impaled her heart. She died instantly. (85 words)
