Patience Remembers Today
"The Devil's ways may not cease today..."

The commute must stall from day to day -
The boss is a jerk; you have plenty of work;
And there must be a war, or they’ll show you the door -
That’s an onerous debt to pay.

Though the hounds may bark to the wolves at bay,
And you seek the past or some future at last,
It pays to recall that the kindest of all,
Have patience that remembers today.

The crown may belong to an office or church -
The Devil's ways may not cease today;
But without a fight, there can be no delight -
Be vigilant as you search.
