how one girl's anorexia experiment turned her into what she is today [about me, actually]
after a shower when she walked downstairs
she looked in the mirror and did a double take
she found herself thinking 'who is she?'

her skin was stretched like plastic wrap
over all those bones that screamed in agony,
her face was sunken in, her eyes making a plea.

her wrists were almost nothing but sticks
her fingers were pale and knobbly
even her gorgeous legs had lost their build

but the scariest part was realizing
what she had done to herself over the year
and looking at herself made her deeply chilled.

she was no longer the manda everyone knew
she was someone totally different.
what had happened to this once beautiful girl?

a boy.
thats what.

a boy she loved.
a boy that called her fat.

a boy that forever changed her.
weakened her, and made her stronger.

yes. a boy.
