A stranger
Rated: E | Poetry | Emotional | #1334445
Written in anatomy class while reflecting on being new in a high school
Outcasts among outcasts
Drawing hooded looks and loaded stares
Secrets hidden deep in pasts
And cliques with superficial cares

A stranger here I wander
Friendless and alone but for one
Past and present torn assunder
And more dreams crushed before they're done

Deep thoughts calls the teacher
But who among them have it?
I see the charm at the end of the lure
Yet I also see the endless pit

Chafed on both sides by pressure
Flowing in the tide of time
Where is the rock that's sure?
They think my life in theirs a crime
