Fall Sings
By Nolricae Fall sings to me, Does it sing to you? Does the wind speak of winter, Threateningly, Do the leaves wrap around you, Kissing and hugging you? Do the bright apples, And sweet early winters, Smother you with love? Do summer's memories cry for your, Remembrance? I sing to fall, Do you? Do you kiss the sweet autumn air, As it whizes by? Do you whisper to the amber leafs, While others just walk by? Do you dance for autumn, Never end, Do you sing to autumn, As it sings to you? A melodic duet, Between the breeze and your actions, A danse of elements, And the twirling leafs, A symphony of orange light, As the sun sets below the horizon, Allowing winter's ice and pitiless cold, And yet, Fall's essance remains, The dead leafs are it's corpse, The symbol of a past year, Gone, Ready for another, When the new year has passed, And summer fads away, And fall, sings.
